I am a GP in London and a freelance medical writer, blogger and editor. My main clinical areas of interest are sexual and reproductive health, HIV, allergy and asthma but I am happy to write on any medical topic as well as more general areas including wellbeing and parenting.
I have written and edited online and paper CPD for a variety of organisations including the Royal College of GPs, Pulse, MIMS, Guidelines in Practice, BMJ Masterclasses and iheed. I am also happy to write for the general public and have been quoted in various publications including Marie Claire and Take A Break as well as the website Healthspan. I am also available for careers advice and personal appearances.
I have a strong academic background having qualified near the top of my year and come in the top 20 candidates when I became a member of the Royal College of GPs. I am organised and efficient and I pride myself on producing work on time and written in appropriate language for the reader, whether the publication is aimed at medical professionals or the general public.
My declaration of interests is here.
I have two young children who keep me busy; when I have a spare minute I like to go running, play the piano and spend time trying to make things grow in the garden, with varying degrees of success.
