About me

I trained at St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School in Paddington, now part of Imperial College. After qualifying near the top of my year I worked in various hospitals as partKids medical set of my GP training scheme. I now practice as a GP in Tottenham and have been there for 14 years. I am also a GP appraiser and I sit on the Local Medical Committee for Haringey East.

I have worked in different areas of London, from the deprived to the very affluent and am able to use these experiences to write for a variety of audiences. My areas of special interest are family planning, sexual health and HIV but I am happy to write on any topic.

I have two young children who keep me busy and I enjoy writing on parenting issues as well as health ones. When I have a spare minute I like to go running, play the piano and spend time trying to make things grow in the garden, with varying degrees of success.
